It is mainly used for inspecting and measuring gear runout, tooth profile, balance, pitch, and hob cutters. This product is called "expandable" because it can measure an expansion range of up to 25mm with a single unit, thanks to its inclined expansion principle. For the measurement method, simply insert the workpiece into the jaws of the mandrel and lightly tap the end face with a soft hammer to complete the operation.
